Illustrious Hucles enjoyed a limited tenure at the top.  He was the first Most Puissant Sovereign Grand Commander to hold membership in King David Consistory No. 3.  He established a presence in the Pacific Northwest and answered the plea of Illustrious Sumner A. Furniss 33°, a future Most Puissant Sovereign Grand Commander, to accept a fully equipped Consistory in the Valley of Indianapolis.  There was a Consistory chartered in Hucles’ name in the Valley of Lincoln, Orient of Nebraska.  It is now defunct.
